The health and safety of visitors is our top priority : COVID-19 Updates
As part of the Folsom Historic District Association, we have implemented a multipronged approach to meet the Covid-19 health and safety requirements of our community. Here are some of the key changes you can expect during your next visit to the Folsom Ice Rink.
Commitment to Clean We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection. Hand Sanitizer Stations will be conveniently placed at the ticket booth entry to the ice rink. Ice Rink staff will continuously sanitize hand railings and all high touch points. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Associates will wear PPE (e.g., face coverings, gloves, etc.) based on the activities they are performing and based on direction by the local authorities.
Shared Responsibility The County of Sacramento has mandated face masks be worn at all times in public settings. Providing a safer environment for our visitors is a top priority. Achieving this is a shared responsibility. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the safety of our public spaces by complying with local regulations and wearing a face covering. We do appreciate your support and understanding. We remind you also to practice social distancing, staying at least 6 feet or 2 meters from other guests.
Social Distancing Measures – Capacity limits It is required for all visitors to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet. To ensure compliance, capacity limits are in place for each session. It is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through the on-line ticket feature to ensure attendance during your selected session.
Additionally, to ensure proper social distancing only paid skaters will be allowed past the ticket booth on the platform. A designated space will be provided for those needing assistance with skate equipment.
All viewing will take place in the public space around the perimeter of the rink.
There is signage throughout our Plaza and Ice Rink to remind Visitors to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities reductions have been implemented in compliance with local and state mandates.
